TapTap Send and bKash Launch Ramadan Campaign to Reward Top Remittance Recipients

During this Ramadan, three families in Bangladesh receiving the highest remittance through TapTap Send, an international money transfer service, will have the chance to win motorbike and electronic appliance coupons when the funds are deposited directly into their bKash accounts.

The top remittance recipient will be awarded a motorbike coupon worth BDT 180,000, while the second and third highest recipients will receive electronic appliance coupons worth BDT 50,000 and BDT 30,000, respectively. Additionally, three more participants will be rewarded every week with electronic device coupons valued at BDT 15,000, BDT 10,000, and BDT 5,000.

TapTap Send and bKash have launched this joint campaign to encourage expatriates to send remittances through official banking channels. The campaign started on March 1 and will continue until March 28, 2025. Bangladeshi expatriates from 22 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Canada, UAE, Portugal, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, and Austria, can send remittances directly to their families' bKash accounts free of charge, as many times as needed. According to Bangladesh Bank regulations, expatriates can send up to BDT 250,000 per transaction to a bKash account.

To qualify for the weekly coupons, expatriates must send a minimum remittance of BDT 10,000 (excluding the 2.5% government incentive). For the mega prize coupons, a minimum remittance of BDT 40,000 (excluding the government incentive) must be sent within the campaign period. Each recipient is eligible to win both a weekly and a mega prize coupon only once. Winners will receive their coupons within three to four working days after the end of the respective week, which can be redeemed through bKash payments.
