Promoting Social Business and Sustainable Development

Additionally, the Chief Adviser addressed a high-level roundtable discussion on social business and the 'Three Zero' vision, urging the creation of a new civilization based on:

  • Zero wealth concentration

  • Zero carbon emissions

  • Zero poverty and unemployment

Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCPIT), Li Qingshuang, also spoke at the Bangladesh Investment Dialogue, stating, "Chinese investors are expanding globally, and many of them are interested in investing in Bangladesh."

Encouraging Further Chinese Investment

Li Qingshuang requested Bangladeshi authorities to organize more investment promotion events in China, noting that many investors are still unaware of the opportunities available in South Asia's rapidly growing manufacturing sector. He pledged that his organization would create a platform to facilitate and promote Chinese investments in Bangladesh.

Speaking about the roundtable discussions, Ashiq Chowdhury said, "We are encouraged by the enthusiastic response from business leaders. In the upcoming investment summit in Dhaka, China will send the largest delegation, and following this dialogue, we expect an even larger turnout."
