Application period for clustered university admission increased by one day
The admission test for 24 clustered universities including 15 science and technology universities of the country has been completed. Tuesday was the last day of application for admission with the department preference order for 24 universities which started from May 20. But due to Cyclone Remal, the application process has been extended by one day, the authorities said.
On Tuesday, May 28th, the convener of the clustered universities admission test committee, Vice Chancellor of Jashore University of Science and Technology Dr. Anwar Hossain confirmed this information.
He said, according to the previous announcement, today was the last day to apply. But due to Cyclone Remal, Internet service has been cut off in many places. Due to the concerns of students, the application deadline has been extended by one day.
The science and technology universities under the cluster are - Bangabandhu Digital University, Sheikh Hasina University, Shahjalal Science and Technology University, Haji Danesh Science and Technology University, Maulana Bhasani Science and Technology University, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Jashore University for Science and Technology, Pabna Science and Technology University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib University of Science and Technology, Patuakhali University of Science and Technology, Chandpur University of Science and Technology, Sunamganj University of Science and Technology, Rangamati University of Science and Technology, Fazilatunnessa Mujib University of Science and Technology and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology .
Also in this cluster, there are Jagannath University, Islami University, Khulna University, Comilla University, Kazi Nazrul University, Begum Rokeya University, Barisal University, Rabindra University and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University.
Before this, the A Unit (Science) faculty exam was held on April 27, B Unit (Humanities) faculty exam on May 3 and C Unit (Commerce) faculty exam was held on April 10. After the examination, the clustered university admission examination committee said that the classes of the new academic year will start from August 1.
