On Monday, Ifad Motors introduced four new 350cc Royal Enfield motorcycles in Bangladesh under the CKD (completely knocked down) assembly with a 90% tax exemption. The pre-booking for the motorcycles has begun, and the news was first shared through social media trials, followed by a flagship showroom launch in Tejgaon. The Indian brand, Royal Enfield, is aiming to capture the markets of Bangladesh and other SAARC countries.
It has been revealed that the new Royal Enfield production unit, located in Chauddagram, Cumilla, is the brand’s seventh global production facility, following units in Nepal, Brazil, Thailand, Colombia, and Argentina.
In a Facebook live broadcast, Royal Enfield's CEO, B. Govindarajan, congratulated the audience on the launch of the Bangladesh production unit and spoke about the brand's global ambitions.
