ICT center is being set up at Regional Center of National University
The National University has decided to decentralize Information Technology (ICT) and One Stop Service Centers to regional centers. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mashiur Rahman conveyed the decision while speaking as the president at a discussion meeting of the university on Monday.
He said, there is no alternative to the maximum use of information technology to provide fast and accurate services to the large family of the National University. Steps should be taken so that students get services from the same desk without harassment. College teachers and students should ensure proper use of ICT in all services, so that at no stage a service seeker needs to come physically to the office.
The Department of Human Resource Development and Reformation organized an exchange meeting with the Department of Information Technology (ICT) at the Senate Hall of the University in Gazipur.
Registrar Mullah Mahfuz Al-Hossein also spoke at the exchange meeting. The Pro vice-chancellor of the university Dr. Nizamuddin Ahmed, Treasurer Professor Abdus Salam Howlader, Director of Information Technology (ICT) Department Md. Muminul Islam, Director of Human Resource Development and Correctional Department Jayant Bhattacharya, Director of Order and Security Department M. Akhtaruzzaman and others were present among others.
