Google is shutting down the Street View app
Google has announced plans to discontinue the dedicated Street View app on Android next year. The tech giant has already prepared several shutdown messages for the Street View app.
In a notification, the company advised users to switch to Google Maps or Street View Studio instead of the Street View app, as the Street View app will be discontinued on March 21, 2023.
To publish your own 360 videos, switch to Street View Studio, says a report from Google. To view Street View and add Photosphere, use Google Maps.
Note that in 2015, Google launched Street View in its own app. The app is brought to both Android and iOS platforms.
