Jagannath University to Conduct Online Classes During Ramadan

Jagannath University (JnU) administration has decided to conduct online classes during the holy month of Ramadan, considering the challenges faced by students. The decision was made in a meeting held on Wednesday, March 5, presided over by JnU Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Rezaul Karim.
Following the meeting, the university issued an official press release to inform all concerned parties.
The press release stated, “For the information of all concerned, a meeting was held on 05/03/2025 at 8:30 AM in the conference room of the esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Md. Rezaul Karim, Ph.D. The meeting was attended by the Honorable Treasurer, Deans of all faculties, Directors of Institutes, the Registrar, Department Chairs, the Proctor, and the Director of Student Welfare. Based on the decisions taken in the meeting, it has been decided that from 09/03/2025 to 20/03/2025, all classes at Jagannath University will be conducted online according to the respective class routines.”
The statement further clarified, “Semester final and mid-term examinations will be held in person as per the respective schedules of each institute and department.”
