Dell’s Decades-Long CFO Departs

Dell Technologies has announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Yvonne McGill, will step down from her role on September 9 after serving the company for more than three decades. She will remain as an advisor until October 31, Reuters reported.
In the interim, David Kennedy, who has been with Dell for 27 years and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Global Business Operations Finance, will assume the responsibilities of CFO.
The company stated that McGill’s resignation was not due to any disagreement related to financial disclosures, policies, or operations. Following the announcement, Dell’s shares fell 1.8% in after-hours trading.
However, the company reaffirmed its previously announced guidance for the third quarter and the full year.
