Smart Employment Fair held at Harokali Bahumukhi Fazil Madrasa in Rangpur
A day-long Rangpur Smart Employment Fair was held at Harakali Bahumukhi Fazil (Degree) Madrasa ground of the district headquarters with Rangpur Madrasa students and graduates interested in building a career in the IT sector.
While speaking as the chief guest joining the opening ceremony of the fair virtually, the ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that in the current world, there is tremendous potential in IT freelancing in the country. Through this they can earn millions of taka working at home. For this, the government is providing three to six months of training in digital marketing, web site development and image processing, search engine optimization in new types of skill development and technology-based jobs among the youth.
As part of this, the government has set up 13,000 Sheikh Russell computer labs in the last 14 years. Another 10,000 labs will be set up in the next financial year. Going to set up another 1,000 Schools of Future and 555 Joy D Set Centers' – added Palak.
He said that these initiatives have been taken to make the future generation skilled and competent. I strongly urge the young voters to vote for Awami League again to provide such smart employment opportunities.
Chhatra League President Saddam Hossain and General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Enam were present in the program chaired by the Learning and Earning Project Director Humayun Kabir.
