Nvidia Notches New Record with Robust Revenue Rise

Nvidia has announced record sales for the current quarter, reporting revenue of $46.7 billion—up 56% compared to the same period last year. The primary driver of this growth was its AI-focused data center business, which generated $41.1 billion, according to TechCrunch.

The company’s cutting-edge Blackwell chip alone accounted for $27 billion in sales.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated, “Blackwell will be the centerpiece of global AI infrastructure.” He further estimated that global spending on AI infrastructure could reach between $3 trillion and $4 trillion by 2030.

However, uncertainty persists in China. Due to discouragement from the Chinese government, no shipments of the H20 chip were made to the Chinese market during this quarter. Despite this, Nvidia projects revenue of $54 billion in the third quarter.
