Directive to Update Institutional Websites Issued by DSHE

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has issued a directive instructing all secondary and higher secondary educational institutions across the country to update their official websites.
The directive was issued through an official order on Monday, July 14.
According to the order, "Many regional offices, districts, upazilas, thanas, and both public and private educational institutions under the DSHE do not have individual websites, and those that do often lack updated information. In this context, as per the directive of the Cabinet Division and in view of reducing public expenditure, government institutions must not develop standalone websites at their own expense. Instead, they must build their websites under the framework of the National Web Portal and ensure the regular update of necessary information."
The order further states that websites must contain comprehensive and up-to-date details, including institutional profile, teaching permission and accreditation, student information by class and gender, data on approved sections, academic details (names of teachers, full class routines, syllabuses, various notices, etc.), MPO status, contact details (phone numbers and addresses), information service center contacts, grievance redressal officer details, staff and faculty information, and managing committee data.
All regional, district, upazila, and thana offices and public and private educational institutions (schools, colleges, and school-and-colleges) under the DSHE have been requested to update or develop their institutional websites and submit the corresponding web addresses to the DSHE's EIMS module by July 31, 2025.
