Apple Announces WWDC 2025, Set for June 9-13

Apple has officially announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 9 to June 13, 2025. The company stated on Tuesday that the event will be open to all online and will primarily focus on software updates for the iPhone, iPad, and other Apple devices, Reuters reports.

Apple also revealed that a select group of developers and students will be invited to attend the opening day event in person at Apple Park.

This conference holds significant importance for investors as well, as the technologies and product advancements announced during the event could enhance consumer interest in Apple products, including the iPhone.

Meanwhile, smartphone makers Samsung and China’s Xiaomi are intensifying competition by integrating AI-powered features and increasing investments in budget-friendly devices.

At last year’s WWDC, Apple introduced several AI-driven features, such as email rewriting and inbox summarization. However, the company recently stated that improvements to its AI-powered voice assistant, Siri, will not be available before 2026, despite an earlier announcement suggesting a 2025 release.

Apple noted that additional details about WWDC will be shared through the Apple Developer app and its official website.
