Hackers Leak Tata Technologies’ Stolen Data

Ransomware group Hunters International has leaked stolen data from Tata Technologies. In January, Tata Technologies fell victim to a ransomware attack, temporarily disrupting some of its services. TechCrunch reported the news.

The leaked data includes sensitive documents such as personal information of current and former employees, purchase orders, and contracts with customers in India and the United States.

Hunters International claims that the stolen data amounts to approximately 1.4 terabytes, containing over 730,000 files.

In January, Tata Technologies informed India’s stock market regulator that while some IT assets were affected by the ransomware attack, client services remained intact. However, it remains unclear whether the leaked data is directly linked to the previous attack.

Founded in 2023, Hunters International operates as a ransomware-as-a-service group. It is believed to be associated with the Hive ransomware gang, which had previously leaked Tata Power’s data in 2022.
