Cabinet Calls for Consistent Website Updates

The Cabinet Division has issued a directive to all senior secretaries and secretaries of ministries and divisions, instructing them to regularly update their respective websites listed on the National Information Portal. The directive was prompted by observations that several ministries, divisions, and subordinate offices or agencies have not been updating their websites consistently.

A letter containing the instruction was recently sent to the heads of all ministries, divisions, and subordinate offices and agencies.

According to the letter, “Many websites of ministries, divisions, and subordinate offices and agencies on the National Information Portal are not being updated regularly. In particular, essential information such as names, designations, mobile numbers, telephone numbers, photographs, and official email addresses of officials are not being properly displayed on the websites.”

The letter further stated, “In this context, ministries, divisions, and subordinate offices and agencies are requested to take necessary measures to ensure that the websites are updated regularly with the required details of all officials and other necessary information.”
