BACCO Hosts Workshop to Boost Awareness on Government Process Outsourcing

The Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) recently organized a three-day workshop titled “Government Procurement System for Services” to enhance awareness and provide hands-on training for its members on government procurement procedures. The event was held at BACCO’s head office in Banani from January 18 to 20 and was attended by representatives from 65 member organizations.
The workshop covered various aspects of outsourcing, including customer service, data entry, social and digital media management, IT support, and public surveys. Participants were also familiarized with the intricacies of government procurement services.
According to a press release issued by BACCO on Tuesday, the workshop’s inaugural session featured BACCO’s Executive Committee Treasurer, Mohammad Aminul Hoque, as the chief guest, and IBPC Assistant Director, Mohammad Faisal Khan, as the special guest. The sessions were conducted by Mohammad Atiqul Islam, Deputy Director (Planning) of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority.
On January 20, the workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony for all participants. In his closing remarks, BACCO Executive Committee Director Mohammad Musnad-E-Ahmed expressed gratitude to the workshop trainers, participants, and the sponsor, ICT Business Promotion Council (IBPC), for making the event “engaging, impactful, and meaningful.”
