Gigabyte Gains Global Glory at COMPUTEX 2026

Gigabyte has won the prestigious “Best Choice Award” at the globally renowned technology exhibition COMPUTEX 2026 in Taiwan for several artificial intelligence (AI)-powered innovations currently on display at the event. The company received international recognition in three categories—motherboards, graphics cards, and laptops—for its cutting-edge technologies and innovations.

In a statement issued on Thursday, May 21, the company said the achievement reflects its commitment to delivering high-performance and scalable AI computing solutions for both gaming and productivity sectors.

According to the company, Gigabyte unveiled the “X870E AORUS XTREME X3D AI TOP” motherboard at the exhibition to further strengthen local AI computing capabilities. The product won the Best Choice Golden Award. Its Turbo Mode technology enables AI-driven dynamic overclocking, allowing real-time control of processor power and thermal performance. To ensure long-term stability, the motherboard also features advanced thermal matrix monitoring and a dedicated Wind Blade active cooling system.

To bring desktop-level graphics performance to laptop users, the “AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX” also secured an award at the exhibition. Powered by NVIDIA’s latest Blackwell architecture-based GeForce RTX 5090 graphics processing unit (GPU), the external box includes Thunderbolt 5 connectivity and 32GB memory. It is designed to significantly accelerate generative AI and large language model (LLM)-based workloads.

Meanwhile, the “AORUS MASTER 16” received recognition as one of the best AI laptops at the event. Built with a 19.9mm slim chassis for gamers and 4K video editors, the laptop incorporates an AI agent system called “GiMATE,” which can automatically optimize cooling and power settings by understanding user workloads.

Gigabyte stated that its core objective is to build a powerful AI ecosystem integrating desktops, laptops, and edge devices.
