iScreen Unveils Star-Studded Eid OTT Lineup Featuring Shakib Khan’s ‘Borbaad’
iScreen is bringing a packed lineup of movies and web films for audiences ahead of Eid al-Adha, aiming to boost holiday entertainment with a series of high-profile releases.
The platform has already announced a slate of six films, with the biggest attraction being industry-hit movie Borbaad starring Shakib Khan. The film is scheduled to premiere on iScreen on June 7.
As part of the Eid content lineup, Rakhosh will be released on May 27. Directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy and starring Siam Ahmed, the movie drew significant audience attention after its theatrical release during the last Eid-ul-Fitr season.
Meanwhile, Saraar Songsar, an iScreen Original web film, was released on May 26. Directed by Aka Reza Galib, the female-centric production is based on a novel by Kazi Anwar Hossain and features Sadia Islam Mou in the lead role.
The Eid special lineup also includes Shaan, Jongli and Payer Talay Mati Nai. The latter, which has been screened at several international film festivals, was directed by Abu Shahed Emon.
According to iScreen, one movie will be released daily during the Eid-ul-Azha holiday period. The announced release schedule includes:
- May 26 — Saraar Songsar
- May 27 — Rakhosh
- May 28 — Shaan
- May 29 — Jongli
- May 30 — Payer Talay Mati Nai
- June 7 — Borbaad
The announcement of back-to-back OTT releases of major big-screen titles has already generated excitement among viewers, particularly those who missed the films in theaters and now have the opportunity to enjoy them from home during the Eid holidays.
