The launch date was postponed several times due to various complications. Finally, putting an end to all expectations, the one-stop citizen service application and management system 'Amader Chattogram' is going to be inaugurated on Saturday, July 18. With this inauguration, a new era is going to begin in the local government management of Chattogram.

Analyzing the app from the Play Store, it has been found that 10 main areas have been kept in the reporting section for citizens—roads, mosquitoes, garbage, street lights, drains, public toilets, illegal structures, waterlogging, education, and health. If anyone wants to provide information or file a complaint regarding roads, an option to take pictures has been kept, along with the location. Types of problems include—manholes, road surfaces, footpaths, and drain slabs. In addition, the mosquito section provides two opportunities to submit reports regarding mosquito or larvae-related problems and mosquito-infected patients. The number of complaints, solutions, and pending cases will be notified live at the solution counter of Chattogram.

The emergency contact section includes numbers, alerts, and 999. The city services section features women and children, CCC school health cards, certificates, holding tax, trade licenses, and birth certificates. Daily event schedules and weather updates will also be available. The app allows users to view information and Google Maps locations of the nearest bus stand, public toilet, STS, graveyard, maternity clinic, pharmacy, police station, fire service station, hospital, parking, ATM, park, and community center. T

he CCC section contains the Mayor's resume, introduction of the Chief Executive, names of departmental heads, mobile numbers and emails, counselors, addresses of all CCC offices, distance, Google Maps, and links to the CCC website and Facebook page.

Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain's citizen-friendly app is seeing the light of day. No money from CCC was spent on developing the app. It has been developed from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sector of Eastern Bank Limited and has been technically built by Vento Tech. The Mayor believes that through the launch of the app, CCC is entering a new chapter in its commitment to make citizen services more simple, transparent, and technology-dependent.
