Recognizing its sustained contributions to driving digital financial inclusion through technological breakthroughs, bKash has won top honors at the "Bangladesh Fintech Award" for the fourth consecutive year. In the 4th edition of the awards ceremony, the country's largest mobile financial service (MFS) provider secured the flagship "Fintech Innovation of the Year" award in the MFS/DFS category, alongside two "Honorable Mentions" in the Payment and Digital Lending segments.
The accolades were recently conferred by the Bangladesh Fintech Forum to honor organizations driving measurable transformation, scale, and technological leadership across the domestic financial technology ecosystem. Azmal Huda, Chief Product and Technology Officer of bKash, accompanied by senior company leadership, formally received the awards on behalf of the organization.
The flagship "Fintech Innovation of the Year" honor was awarded to bKash's holistic financial inclusion model, "The bKash Impact." The initiative was recognized for systematically onboarding low-income and unbanked demographics into formal financial architectures—delivering seamless access to institutional savings, instant micro-loans, retail transactions, and cross-border remittances.
Furthermore, bKash earned two Honorable Mentions: one for "bKash NFC" in the Payment category for pioneering contactless tap-and-pay transactions, and another for "bKash Merchant Loan" in Digital Lending for enabling automated, collateral-free working capital financing for cottage, micro, and small enterprises (CMSEs).
