Freelancing Future: Fourth Batch Admission Test Held in Tangail
As part of a nationwide initiative by the Department of Youth Development, the admission test for the fourth batch of freelancing training was held in Tangail, mirroring similar programs across the country. The examination took place on Friday, September 26, at Government Kumudini College, with 735 candidates participating.
The examination center was visited by the Chair of the Examination Control Committee and Deputy Director of the District Youth Development Department, Fatema Begum, Vice Chair and Assistant Director of the District Youth Development Department, Rathindra Nath Chakraborty, and District Coordinator of E-Learning and Earning Limited, Md. Jewel Rana.
Additionally, Assistant District Coordinator of E-Learning and Earning Limited Touhidur Rahman, trainer Sangeeta Sarker, Digital Marketing Trainer Amit Mondol, Web Development and Graphics Design Trainer Mahbubur Rahman, and other representatives of the organization helped conduct the admission test.
Speaking about the event, District Coordinator Md. Jewel Rana of E-Learning and Earning Limited said, “The admission test was held simultaneously in 48 districts of the country, including Tangail. The examination in Tangail was conducted peacefully and smoothly. The oral examination will be held on Saturday, September 27. Following that, written tests and the final results will be communicated via SMS.”
The program is being carried out under the project titled “Employment Generation for Educated Job-Seeking Youth through Freelancing Training in 48 Districts of the Country”, implemented by the Department of Youth Development under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Its aim is to enhance self-employment opportunities, reduce unemployment, and foster entrepreneurship by equipping youth with freelancing skills.
