Apple’s September Showcase Stuns with iPhone 17 and More

True to tradition, tech giant Apple unveiled a host of innovations this September at its much-anticipated iPhone 17 launch event in Cupertino. The company introduced several new devices, including the iPhone 17 series, the all-new iPhone Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, the third-generation AirPods Pro, and the latest Apple Watch models. Alongside the hardware reveals, Apple also announced its groundbreaking Liquid Glass technology and new features in iOS 26, according to Engadget.

The iPhone 17 comes with a 6.3-inch ProMotion-supported 120Hz display, reinforced with Ceramic Shield 2 technology that is said to triple the device’s durability. Powered by the new A19 chipset featuring an enhanced Neural Engine, six-core CPU, and five-core GPU, the phone promises superior performance and improved battery life. Its camera system includes a 48MP Fusion ultra-wide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. Pricing starts at $799.

Apple also introduced the iPhone Air, which it described as its thinnest smartphone yet, measuring just 5.6mm. Built with spacecraft-grade titanium, the device features a 6.5-inch ProMotion display with brightness levels reaching up to 3,000 nits. It runs on the powerful A19 Pro chipset, paired with the new N1 chip and an upgraded C1X modem. The iPhone Air will start at $999.

The iPhone 17 Pro lineup debuts with a completely redesigned anodized aluminum unibody and a new vapor chamber-based thermal management system to prevent overheating. The camera array includes a 48MP telephoto, wide, and ultra-wide setup. The Pro Max model boasts the longest-ever battery backup on an iPhone, with up to 39 hours of continuous video playback. Prices for the Pro series begin at $1,099.

Apple refreshed its wearable line with the AirPods Pro 3, the first major update in three years. Retaining the familiar design, the earbuds now feature a heart-rate monitoring sensor, enhanced active noise cancellation, and a live translation function. They provide up to eight hours of use on a single charge and are priced at $249.

The new Apple Watch Series 11 arrives with the thinnest and most durable design yet, 5G support, and the ability to detect high blood pressure. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 introduces satellite connectivity and an upgraded LTPO 3 display, while the SE model now includes an always-on display and gesture support. Pricing begins at $399 for Series 11, $799 for Ultra 3, and $249 for the SE model.

Pre-orders for all new devices will open on September 12, with availability beginning on September 19.
