The much-anticipated OnePlus Nord 5 series is set to hit the market on July 9, featuring two new smartphones that promise significant upgrades in both photography and performance.
Early teasers suggest that the devices will offer flagship-grade dual cameras—designed to deliver natural selfies in daylight and ultra-clear group photos at night.
According to sources, the first model in the Nord 5 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform. It is equipped with a flagship Kryo CPU built on a 4-nanometer architecture and elite gaming features such as real-time ray tracing. The device will also include LPDDR5X RAM and an advanced thermal cooling system. Popular mobile games like PUBG and Call of Duty Mobile are expected to run at an impressive 144 frames per second.
The flagship-level experience is further enhanced in another variant, which features the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chip for smoother graphics, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. A massive 7,100 mAh battery promises up to three days of backup, while 80W fast charging and the "Battery Health Magic" feature aim to maintain long-term battery efficiency.
