The ICSCT conference ended with the participation of 20 countries

The International Conference on Science and Contemporary Technologies (ICSCT) at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) with the participation of more than two hundred researchers from 20 countries ended on Saturday. The conference focused on science and technology based solutions to various problems in achieving sustainable development goals. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the three-day virtual international conference. On the occasion, Palak highlighted the various achievements of Bangladesh in advancing in information technology. Besides, the state minister also said that importance would be given to students' research and innovation in the face of the fourth industrial revolution. BUBT Trust Chairman Prof. Safiq Ahmed Siddique and BUBT Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md Fayyaz Kha were also present at the closing ceremony. The conference was inaugurated by Dipu Moni, the Minister of Education on Thursday. The theme of this year's conference was Science and Contemporary Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Industry 4.0 Applications, Business Informatics, Robotics and Cyber-Physical Systems and Renewable Energy. Researchers from the United States, United Kingdom, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, North Korea, Malaysia and Russia discussed a variety of topics.
