Nazmul and Rabbani heads the Journalists’ Association of CUET

The Annual General Meeting of Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) Journalists’ Association has been completed. The meeting announced the new committee of the Executive Council for the 2022-23 session. Nazmul Hasan, the university representative of The Dainik Amader Samoy and The Bangladesh Today, was elected as the president of the said committee, and the CUET representative of the Dainik Samakal Md. Golam Rabbani have been elected as the general secretary. 

The CUET Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam was present as the Chief Guest at the event held at the TSC Auditorium of CUET. 

The outgoing president of Journalists’ Association, Zeon Ahmed presided over the event while the CUET Students’ Welfare Director Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim; Head of Department of Mathematics Professor Dr. Ujjal Kumar Dev; Assistant Professor of Electrical Techniques Department Jitu Prakash Dhar; CUET Assistant Registrar (Information and Publication) Muhammad Fazlur Haque and Head of Security Department Anisuzzaman Khan were present as the special guests.

In addition, the CUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Rafiqul Alam handed over the crests to the members of the outgoing committee. After that, the outgoing president Zion Ahmed handed over the flag memorial to the president of the new committee.
