E-passport activities will be withheld for two days
The activities of e-passport services in all divisional and regional passport offices will be withheld on March 15 and 16 (Tuesday and Wednesday).
A circular passed by the Immigration and Passports Department conveyed the statement on Monday (March 14).
It said, OAT and fail over tests would be conducted at the disaster recovery site under the Immigration and Passport Department. Due to this, e-passport service activities will be closed on 15th and 16th March in the divisional and regional passport offices of the country. For these two days, the service will be provided to the applicants on March 20 and the next working day.
