Jovan-Keya Pair Up in 'Happy Divorce' Coming to YouTube
A unique drama titled 'Happy Divorce,' blending family stories, humor, and contemporary messages, is set to release on YouTube for Eid audiences.
Director Tapu Khan confirmed that filming for the drama was completed last week and it will be released on YouTube for Eid.
'Happy Divorce' revolves around a couple's journey with the decision to have children. Jovan and Keya Payel play the husband and wife, facing pressure, expectations, and emotions from both families. Jovan's parents are eager to see their grandchildren, while Keya's family adds their own perspectives to the matter.
The storyline progresses with humor, family tensions, and contemporary realities. The story is by Tune Tehrin, and the screenplay is written by Limon Ahmed.
Farhan Ahmed Jovan and Keya Payel star as a couple in the drama. The cast also includes Subrata, Shamima Naznin, Rozi Siddiqui, Somapti Masuk, and Tahmina Sultana Mou in various roles.
Regarding the drama, Jovan stated, "Payel and I play husband and wife. The main issue is the pressure from family to have children. The story uses humor to depict reality. Our hard work will be worth it if the audience enjoys it."
Keya Payel commented, "This will be enjoyable for the audience as an Eid drama. The story's concept is unique. It was a great experience working with senior artists."
Rozi Siddiqui believes that director Tapu Khan has created the drama with great care. Somapti Masuk mentioned that such stories with multiple characters are rarely seen these days. Tahmina Sultana Mou shared that she enjoyed working with everyone after a long time.
