Vivo Ventures Underwater with Y400 Flagship Smartphone Launch in Bangladesh
On Wednesday, July 30, Vivo officially launched its latest Y-series flagship smartphone, the Y400, in Bangladesh. The standout feature of this device is its underwater photography capability, enabling users to capture photos while submerged—making it ideal for seaside adventures or water rides.
The Vivo Y400 is available in two storage variants. The 128 GB ROM version, with 8 GB RAM and an additional 8 GB extended RAM, is priced at BDT 27,999. The 256 GB ROM variant with the same RAM capacity is priced at BDT 29,999.
Vivo Bangladesh has also announced an exclusive gift bundle worth BDT 20,000 for pre-orders. The bundle includes an S80 power bank, Mana Bay ticket, water damage insurance, and an 18 GB Banglalink data pack.
According to the company, "The most exciting feature of the Vivo Y400 is its underwater photography capability." The phone is engineered to remain functional at depths of up to 2 meters for as long as 30 minutes, offering users peace of mind during aquatic activities.
In terms of camera specifications, the Y400 features a 50 MP Sony IMX852 autofocus main camera, a 2 MP bokeh sensor, and an 8 MP front camera. It also includes an underwater photography mode and enhanced AI features to improve photo quality captured in challenging environments.
