He made these remarks as the chief guest on Sunday evening (October 18, 2026) during a 'Sharadiya Greetings' program organized by the BTCL Sarbajanin Puja Celebration Council at the BTCL Residential Area in Karail, Banani, Dhaka.
Extending festive greetings on behalf of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the Minister noted that the Prime Minister stands firmly beside the Hindu community and remains dedicated to supporting their overall welfare and development.
In response to demands raised by local organizers, the Minister assured that infrastructure challenges within the residential area—including road repairs, clean drinking water access, and housing facility improvements—would be prioritized. He stated that discussions with relevant departments will commence shortly to address these municipal issues while calling for community cooperation to accelerate localized development.
Concluding his address, the Minister wished health, peace, and prosperity to the attendees and requested prayers for Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his family. Following the discussion, sarees provided by the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund were distributed among local Hindu community members.
