Designed to address the vulnerabilities, unverified profiles, and lack of transparency prevalent across digital dating and informal matchmaking brokers, an innovative in-person matchmaking convention titled "Milano: Season 1" is scheduled to take place in Feni. Jointly organized by community welfare platform "IYouandFuture" (IUF) and digital wellness network "PositiveWaive," the event will be hosted at a secured venue in Feni on Friday, 1 January 2027.

To maintain privacy and crowd control, the day-long event will be segmented into eight timed cohorts between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Each cohort will accommodate a maximum threshold of 125 prospective groom delegates and 125 prospective bride delegates. Operational protocol requires mandatory National Identity (NID) verification at reception to eliminate unverified participants and intermediaries. Furthermore, strict data governance safeguards sensitive personal telemetry, ensuring contact coordinates and biodata are shared strictly through mutual affirmative consent. Admission per cohort has been standardized at a nominal fee of Tk 1,000.

Highlighting the concept, Kazi Arafatul Islam Insaf, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IUF and PositiveWaive, stated that marriage in societal culture represents a lasting union of two families rather than isolated individuals. He emphasized that Milano is not a commercial matchmaking agency, but a structured, value-driven community initiative engineered to open transparent discussion pathways while upholding family dignity.

Prospective candidates and guardians can join the preliminary evaluation pool via the official digital wishlist portal. Formal final ticketing and candidate onboarding are slated to open on 15 November 2026, with venue specifics shared exclusively with verified registrants, official sources confirmed.

The initiative introduces an organized social framework enabling prospective brides, grooms, and their guardians to interact face-to-face in a structured, dignified, and family-oriented environment. Moving past isolated virtual screens, the program mandates family involvement; every registration includes complimentary entry for two legal guardians to ensure social accountability and familial alignment.
