Bangladesh has marked the global debut destination for Tecno’s latest lifestyle-centric smartphone, the 'Camon Slim 5G', alongside the nationwide commercial rollout of the 'Camon Air'. The official market release was announced on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
Framed around the slogan "Slim, Strong, Unstoppable," the Camon Slim 5G measures 6.39mm in thickness and weighs 190 grams. Delivering elevated environmental resilience, the chassis incorporates multi-tier IP68, IP69, and high-pressure IP69K water-and-dust ingress protection. The device features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel operating at a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300E 5G processor. For optical capture, it sports a 50MP Sony LYT700C primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a flicker sensor, and a 32MP front sensor, backed by a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Simultaneously introduced, the Camon Air features a 6.39mm 3D curved build weighing 162.8 grams, driven by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor and IP68/IP69 protection. It packs a 6,000mAh battery supporting 60W Ultra Charge, a 50MP Sony LYT600 main camera, and an interactive rear AI Mood Light. Both devices run proprietary on-device AI suites, including AI Healthcare calorie tracking, AI Nutritionist, AI Pet Snap, and AI StarCamp.
The Camon Slim 5G (8GB+256GB) retails at BDT 59,999 (+VAT), with pre-orders open from 1 to 7 September offering a bundle containing a Tecno Smartwatch Neo and an opening-match ticket to the Tecno SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026. The Camon Air is commercially available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB trims, priced at BDT 44,999 and BDT 49,999 respectively.
