GST ‘B’ Unit Admission Test Held Smoothly at UFTB Center
The undergraduate (Honours) first-year ‘B’ Unit (Humanities) admission test for the 2025–26 academic session under the GST cluster universities was held in a peaceful and orderly environment at the University of Frontier Technology, Bangladesh (UFTB) center. The examination took place simultaneously across 20 centers nationwide, including the UFTB center, on Friday, April 3.
According to university sources, a total of 3,912 candidates applied for the ‘B’ Unit at the UFTB center this year. Among them, 2,530 candidates were present, while 1,382 were absent, resulting in an attendance rate of 64.67 percent.
During the examination, UFTB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf visited the center and monitored the overall proceedings. He was accompanied by the university’s Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Registrar, Proctor, and directors and chairpersons of various departments.
Expressing satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the examination, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf said, “The GST cluster ‘B’ Unit admission test has been completed at the UFTB center today in a highly disciplined environment without any form of disorder.” He extended sincere thanks and gratitude to the teachers, officials, staff members, volunteer students, and all collaborators involved in conducting the examination, including the Gazipur district and police administration.
