Khamenei and Generation X Tops March Reads Trends of Bangla Wikipedia
The list of the most-read pages on Bangla Wikipedia for March has recently been published. Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei ranked at the top, with the page on “Ali Khamenei” being viewed 42,277 times.
The list shows that readers on Bangla Wikipedia demonstrated a strong interest in Iran-related topics. At the same time, there was notable curiosity about the discussed Gen Z generation. Overall, readers showed the highest interest in international affairs and contemporary notable figures.
According to the list, “Generation X” ranked second in terms of readership on the popular online Bangla encyclopedia, with 32,105 views in March.
In third place was Indian actor Rahul Banerjee, whose page was viewed 26,528 times.
The fourth position was held by “Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un” (24,730 views), followed by “West Bengal Legislative Assembly Election, 2026” in fifth place (23,292 views). “Iran” ranked sixth with 22,742 views.
Additionally, Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Speaker of the 13th National Parliament, ranked seventh (20,277 views), followed by controversial adult film star Mia Khalifa in eighth place (19,280 views), and the “Strait of Hormuz” in ninth place (18,677 views).
The list also includes “Bangladesh” (16,674), “Independence Day of Bangladesh” (13,983), “Johnny Sins” (12,701), “Kaiser Kamal” (12,657), “XXXX (album)” (12,096), “Tarique Rahman” (11,843), “Israel” (11,523), “Shia Islam” (11,373), “Salahuddin Ahmed (politician)” (10,832), “13th National Parliament Election, 2026” (10,649), and “Benjamin Netanyahu” (10,197).
