BASIS to Honour Top IT Exporters at Exporter's Night

Since April 2024, the activities of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) have been running under an administrator. Amid various developments and uncertainties, preparations are underway to hold the election for the 2026–2028 executive council, although the election is likely to take place after the national parliamentary polls.

In the meantime, BASIS has taken the initiative to honour IT and ITES exporting companies. Accordingly, on 27 January, the BASIS Board has arranged the BASIS IT Exporter's Night, scheduled to be held in the evening at the Radisson Blu, Dhaka.

The event will be presided over by Abul Khayer Mohammad Hafizullah Khan, Joint Secretary of the Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Ministry, who is currently serving as the BASIS administrator. At the programme, ICT Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury will hand over honorary crests to the heads of Bangladesh’s top 10 IT and ITES exporting companies.

Sources said that the companies set to receive the honours this year are BJIT Limited, Brain Station 23 Limited, Ulkasemi Private Limited, Celis Digital Platforms, Cefalo Bangladesh Limited, Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh Limited, Enosis Solutions, Therap (BD) Limited, Radiant Data Systems Limited, and Data Path Limited.
