Polestar smartphone is coming soon

Sweden-based electric vehicle (EV) maker Polestar is considering launching a smartphone. As part of this, the company is thinking of launching a smartphone along with the SUV in the Chinese market. News South China Morning Post.

Polestar is owned by Chinese carmaker Geely Holdings. Polestar has recently signed an agreement with the country's smartphone maker Jingji Meiju.

According to the first report published by CNBC, joint production and marketing of smartphones will begin by the end of 2023.

According to analysts, the company followed the steps of a local competitor and took the same initiative. Because currently China's EV market is very competitive. To survive here, advanced technology and features have to be provided. Yale Zhang Yu, managing director of Shanghai-based research institute Automotive Foresight, said, 'The main goal is to use the same operating system in cellphones and cars. By managing together, users can enjoy advanced features.'
