Palak made 5 pledges to deal with 3 enemies in building Smart Bangladesh
The State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has called for elimination of the three enemies of drugs, corruption, usury and bribery to build a smart Bangladesh. He made this call on Saturday, January 20th afternoon at a civic reception at the Gol-e-Afroz College grounds under Singra Upazila of Natore. At the same time, he declared that the owners of fishing nets will not be barred at any swamp area; The owners of deeds will be treated as the land owners; They will get jobs, who have merit-skill-competene; The state minister promised to be a people-friendly public representative and worker-friendly leader.
Singra Upazila Awami League and its organization organized this civic reception where local leaders spoke. He said, since taking oath as a Member of Parliament elected by your vote and love, I have taken oath as the representative of all the people of Singra and not of any party, group, person, circle or symbol.
Palak said, no one can occupy Singra's reservoir Khalbil(waterbodies). No one can stop the fishermen who have nets from catching fish. There will be no dams in the canals, no cotton nets in the rivers. Deed whose land is his. Illegal squatters will be evicted from Singra. Jobs will be arranged according to the merit.
He also said, I will try to elect people-friendly representatives in any upcoming elections. The party will be restored by bringing honest people-friendly, worker-friendly leaders to the party posts.
