ICT Quiz and Computer Programming contest held at UITS

"Smart Bangladesh Day 2023 ICT Quiz Contest" and "Smart Bangladesh Day 2023 Programming Competition" were held at the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS). More than 500 students registered online to participate in the competition, which is open to all. Then the participants in the computer programming competition showcased their programming skills on Toph and HackerRank platforms.

Among them, in quiz competition (HSC level),” Rayed Zaman (Scholastica) stood 1st, Tawhid Islam (Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College) became 2nd and Adeeb Zubair (Syed Hatim Ali College Barisal) got 3rd position.

In the"Smart Bangladesh Day 2023 Programming Contest (HSC level), Md. Tofazzal Ahmed Sani of Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College, Sylhet became the Champion. While Nadid Hussain (Notre Dame College) bagged the second position and Asif Adnan (Notre Dame College) got the third position.

In “Smart Bangladesh Day 2023 Programming Competition (University Level)” Md. Roni Mir of Patuakhali University of Science and Technology stood first and Md. Tajim Uddin from the same university stood second. On the other hand, Md Rahman Alvey from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Shibli, secured the third position.

Prizes were distributed among the winners on Friday at the university's conference room. The Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan was present as the chief guest at the award ceremony. Treasurer Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed was also present as a special guest attheevent.

IQAC Director Engineer Md. Shafayet Hossain presided over the program. Dean of Science and Engineering Faculty Dr. Md Ashraful Islam, Registrar Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, Head of CEC Department and Assistant Professor Al-Imtiaz were also present among others.
