Primarily it was declared that the second event of Digital Device & Innovation Expo will be held in a hybrid model (Both physically and virtually). But finally, it is going on virtual alone due to the deteriorating pandemic situation in the country. But the good thing is the participation even though virtually didn’t decrease at all. Visitors from home and abroad are taking part in the conference, at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center through their mobile sets using the DDIExpo app at their convenient time. Many of them are participating in daily seminars on social media and through the website. By using Expo App to input their mobile number, visitors are getting access to the venue. At the entrance of the fair, there is an option to select the avatar as your choice. The app has a map yo guide you. As a result, you can go to Bangabandhu Corner, Organizer’s Corner, Exhibitor’s Corner, meeting room and other places with just a few clicks. Virtually you can walk or run from one place to another. Even if you feel tired, there are options to sit and rest. There is also a system for taking selfies. If you stand in front of a stall, a video message with various words about that organization will appear on the screen. You will get various information about the organization. Apart from the app, there are live arrangements of the seminars at the expo through Facebook. As a result, anyone can join all seminars from home without fear of coronavirus. The second day of the conference, (Friday) has 5 seminars and a workshop. These include ‘Roll of Youth’ and ‘Future of the Industrial Revolution at 10 am. ‘Workshop on e-Governance and Smart Public Services’ at 2 pm. ‘Make locally, sell globally’ at 4 pm. ‘FGD Roundtable Discussion on Made in Bangladesh Strategy’ and ‘Role of Digital Device and Literacy Insurance Financial Inclusion in Bangladesh’ at 7 pm.
