BTRC received Tk. 10,601 crore in spectrum auction
In the spectrum auction, four operators bought a total of 190 MHz spectrum in two bands. In the first round of this spectrum auction, BTRC sold spectrum worth Tk. 10,601 crore.
In the first round of the auction held at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on Thursday (March 31), Teletalk bought 30 MHz spectrum in three blocks for Tk. 1,680 crore in 2300 bands.
Banglalink has bought 40 MHz spectrum in 4 blocks in 2300 bands for Tk. 2,241 crore.
Robi has bought 60 MHz spectrum in 6 blocks in 2600 bands for Tk. 3,360 crore.
Grameenphone has bought 60 MHz spectrum in 6 blocks of 2600 bands for Tk. 3,360 crore.
Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mostafa Jabbar and BTRC Chairman Shyam Sundar Sikder are present as guests.
Auction of 2.3 GHz and 2.6 GHz band spectrum auction is being held with the participation of all mobile operators in the country.
