The State Minister for ICT called upon the tribal youth to be educated in technology
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has called upon the tribal youth to be educated in technology.
The state minister made the call while participating in a discussion meeting on the occasion of Indigenous Day on August 9 through a virtual platform. Tribal youth of Singra Upazila of Natore took part in the program.
Palak also called on the tribal youth to become entrepreneurs and freelancers by taking training from the ICT Department's Learning and earning and other projects.
The state minister said 20,000 youths would be employed in high-tech parks, Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center, technical training centers and technical schools and colleges in Singra. Initiatives will be taken to provide employment to a significant number of educated tribal youth.
On the occasion, the ICT state minister assured other cooperation including the construction of houses for homeless tribals.
