ICT Division offers all technical cooperation to be smart: Palak

The Minister of State for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak wants to convert Singra Sambay Samity Limited, a cooperative association in his constituency into a paperless smart organization. For this, he promised to provide all technical support from the ICT Division.

He made this promise while addressing as the Chief Guest at the 44th Annual General Meeting of Singra Upazila Central Cooperative Association (UCCA) Limited on Sunday. In the morning on Sunday, Singra Mayor Jannatul Ferdous, Deputy Director of BRDB M. Samsur Rahman were present special guests in the program. The event was presided over by Sheikh Md. Ohidur Rahman, President of the Association.

He said that Singra Upazila Central Cooperative Association has about 5 bighas of unused land; similarly, there are many such unused land in every Upazila of Bangladesh. But if we use these lands properly or use them for production purposes, we will get benefits of crops worth thousands of crores or business ventures.

At noon, while speaking at the special extended meeting of Bangladesh Awami League, Singra Upazila branch at Singra Government Food Godown area, Palak said that our party will not have any candidate or symbol in the upcoming Upazila council elections. Candidates in local elections will be the elections of people, who are always among the people and on the side of the people; work selflessly for public welfare, will always be friends with the people in times of danger and need and will stand by the leaders and activists in happiness and sorrow. And these posts of chairman-member are temporary; Our loving organization Bangladesh Awami League is our permanent identity. So, let us not forget the organization; evaluate the leaders and workers of Awami League. Awami League is a family.
