Figma Forecasts $16.4 Billion Valuation in Upcoming IPO

Cloud-based design software firm Figma is targeting a full valuation of $16.4 billion through its anticipated listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), according to Reuters.

The company, alongside some of its existing investors, aims to raise $1.03 billion by offering 37 million shares priced between $25 and $28 each.

This marks a significant milestone for Figma following the collapse of its proposed $20 billion acquisition deal with Adobe in 2022, which fell through due to regulatory hurdles in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

In the first quarter of this year, Figma’s revenue rose by 46%, while its net profit tripled—indicating strong financial momentum ahead of the initial public offering.

The company will be listed under the ticker symbol “FIG,” and its favorable stance on Bitcoin has drawn public attention on social media. As of March, Figma had invested $70 million in the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF and has plans to invest an additional $30 million.

However, Figma has cautioned that the rapid advancement of AI-powered design tools could pose a potential threat to its business model.
