Workshop by bKash in Bagerhat to prevent misuse of mobile financial services
bKash organized a workshop in Bagerhat to raise awareness among members of law enforcement agencies and bKash agents on preventing the use of mobile financial services in criminal activities.
Recently, in collaboration with the district police, bKash organized this coordination workshop at Bagerhat Shilpakala Academy with more than 100 bKash agents and police members. Additional IGP (Retd.) Mohammad Najibur Rahman, Adviser, External and Corporate Affairs Division, bKash; EVP and Head of External Affairs AKM Monirul Karim and Additional Superintendent of Police of Bagerhat Sadar Circle Md. Mahmud Hasan were present as guests in the workshop.
The coordination workshop was organized in Bagerhat as part of a series of awareness campaigns in different districts across the country to ensure proper use of MFS in compliance, prevent criminal activities in the financial sector and prevent misuse of MFS services.
The workshop discussed in detail the crimes committed by abusing MFS, providing necessary information to identify the culprits and various steps of bKash to prevent misuse. In addition, there is a detailed discussion on how to prevent misuse of information by local law enforcement agencies.
Also in the workshop, emphasis is placed on compliance through awareness.
