The New Executive Committee of DUET Computer Society Announced

The Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) Computer Society held its farewell ceremony for graduate executives and announced the newly-formed executive committee. The event took place at the DUET campus in Gazipur, with Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Head of the CSE Department and Chairman of the DUET Computer Society, as the chief guest.

Professor Dr. Shafiqul Islam, the society’s councilor, Associate Professor Khaja Imran Masud, the moderator, and other advisory faculty members were also present at the event.

Under the leadership of outgoing President Toufiq Hasan Munna, various guidance and motivational speeches were delivered by the councilor, moderator, and other advisory members. Alumni members also shared their experiences and advised during the program.

During his address, outgoing President Toufiq Hasan Munna reflected on the society’s activities in the previous session and provided directions for the newly formed committee.

Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam expressed his aspirations for the society's future, urging the new leadership to expand their efforts beyond DUET and engage in national and international initiatives.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Associate Professor Khaja Imran Masud, the society’s moderator, announced the names of the new executive committee members. Tanvir Ahmed, a fourth-year CSE student, was appointed as the new President, while Atiqur Rahman Bappi, a third-year student, was named the new Secretary.

Prior to announcing the new committee, Associate Professor Khaja Imran Masud wished the society continued success and encouraged the newly appointed members to fulfill their responsibilities diligently. He called on everyone to work together to enhance the society’s future activities.
