Honda will build an electric car factory in China
Honda, Japan's second-largest carmaker, has announced plans to build an electric car factory in China. Chinese company Dongfeng Motors is also involved in this.
Both the companies are going to build this factory through joint investment. 1 lakh 20 thousand electric vehicles will be manufactured in that factory every year.
The news agency Reuters reported on Thursday that the car factory would be built in the Chinese city of Wuhan. From 2024, they will start building cars in the factory. There they will build only electric cars.
As part of the plan, Honda has started working with business partners to launch 10 new models in China this year.
