Eighty students from Feni University gained insights into app innovation and monetization strategies during a day-long workshop held on Thursday, November 21, at the university’s central auditorium.

The workshop featured sessions on product development resources, app creation from scratch, and discussions on topics such as SDGs and NSDGs. These sessions were conducted by K. A. I. Insaf, founder of ZeroOneLab Limited and Product Lead at PositiveWave. Mohammad Arif Hossain, Deputy Manager of BDApps, highlighted how to monetize apps and ideas through the BDApps platform.

Both trainers emphasized the importance of innovative thinking, effective planning, and leveraging technology to develop profitable apps.

Prior to the event, over 200 students applied to participate in the “Monetize Your Apps and Ideas with BDApps” workshop. Eligible participants were selected based on their CVs, LinkedIn profiles, interest in the BDApps platform, and accurate responses to a four-question, 20-point assessment.

The workshop concluded with a quiz competition, where winners received awards. The prizes were distributed by the workshop’s chief organizer, Muntasir Karim Chowdhury, Acting Chairperson and Lecturer of the CSE Department at Feni University, alongside the trainers.
