Edit button launched in Threads
Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive officer of Meta, announced the launch of the edit button in the new social media Threads. Post can be edited for free within five minutes of sharing the post through this button. News Engadget and TechCrunch.
Earlier, to make changes to a post, the post had to be deleted and posted again. Now users can edit the post without deleting it.
The customers will not be charged for using the edit button in Threads. It is free to use in both mobile app and web version.
Zuckerberg announced the addition of another new feature called 'Voice Threads'. Voice can be posted on the platform using the feature. The feature is primarily meant for those who prefer to use the voice option over text. The voice option can be used to post or reply to new threads.
