College admission fee may be paid without charge thru’ Nagad

Nagad, a leading mobile financial service provider of the country, has introduced the facility of free admission fee payment. Students seeking admission to class XI can pay their college admission fees by using the app or by dialing *167# (USSD).

If the students pay Tk. 150 through Nagad to pay the college admission fee, they will get Tk. 2.5 of the charge as cashback.

For that, students have to go to 'Bill Pay' option to pay Class XI admission fee using Nagad app. Then select 'XI Class Admission 2023' tab. In the next window, mention the roll number, mobile number, board name and year of passing. Next step is to tap again with pin number. User will get a confirmation message once this bill payment is completed successfully.

While paying admission fee by dialing USSD first dial *167#. Then select the bill pay option at number 5. Then go to 'Other' option in number 12 and select 1 in the next step. The next step is to enter '1300' as the biller's account number. Then you have to give your roll number, board, mobile number and passing year step by step. Finally, after entering the PIN number, a payment confirmation message will appear.

A Nagad customer will be considered for cashback only when he/she pays this admission fee through 'Bill Pay' using the app or by dialing *167# (USSD).

This campaign of 'Class XI Admission Fee' has started from August 10, 2023. This campaign will continue till 31 September 2023. A Nagad customer will be eligible for this cashback only once during the campaign period. And to avail this cashback offer, the customer must have a full profile Nagad account active.

Students will be freed from the hassle of paying the admission fee directly as the opportunity to pay admission fee in class 11 in this process through Nagad Apart from this they will get used to digital transactions.

Regarding this campaign, Nagad's Chief Commercial Officer Md. Sihab Uddin Chowdhury said, 'Nagad wants to make financial transactions easier and more comfortable. We want the youth to get used to more and more digital transactions. For that purpose we have come up with the opportunity for students seeking admission in Class XI to pay their college admission fees through Nagad. In this they can pay the admission fee without charge. We believe this will make digital payments easier for people and more people will be familiar with the process.'
