Bondstein received an investment of Tk 8.5 crore

Bondstein, an Internet of Things (IoT) based technology company, has received an investment of around Tk 8.5 crore. A number of companies led by Rana Trading Limited, a member of the Runner Group, have invested this money equivalent to $ 1 million in Bondstein. This information was confirmed by Bondstein in a press release on Saturday (October 23). Bondstein's co-founder and chief information officer (CIO) Jafir Shafi Chowdhury said, "Our goal is to lead the regional IoT business in the next 10 years." And we have been doing business successfully over the years in implementing that goal. With this investment we went one step further in achieving our goal. This is the first investment in the country's IoT sector. Through this investment in innovative services, we hope to be able to bring new technologies at affordable prices in the field of technology. We have initial plans to invest in business expansion, research of new technologies, increase in raw material stocks and expansion of IoT hardware production. M Hafizur Rahman, Chairman of Runner Group, expressed hope for Bondstein's success, saying that Bondstein has the ability to innovate technology and use it to solve problems. With our experience and network, we can help this company reach new heights. Bondstein's Connected Vehicle service, better known on the market as Vehicle Tracking, allows customers to remotely monitor transportation. At the same time, it is helping to recover them in case of theft. The technology is also helping them save on transportation costs and prevent road accidents through sophisticated driving pattern models. Bondstein currently serves more than five hundred enterprise customers and monitors their nearly four million trips in real time. Bondstein's proprietary IoT Cloud, which works with any type of IoT hardware and currently processes around 25 million data real-time per month. At present, Bondstein has established itself as a leading service provider in the IoT sector. Bondstein's power monitoring service based on the IoT cloud is currently being used in more than a thousand telecom towers. IoT or connected services will play an important role in the digital lifestyle of the future. To this end, Bondstein has launched Smart Home Solution - Bond. When question paper leaks became a major problem for Bangladesh, Bondstein came up with a solution through IoT-based smart-boxes. After five consecutive years of use in medical admission tests, the service is now being used in Dhaka University and also in cluster-based admission tests. This questioning technology is widely acclaimed across the country. Besides, Bondstein has a long-term agreement with Robi, the second largest telecom operator in Bangladesh.
