The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) introduced its Online One-Stop Service (OSS) Portal on February 24, 2019, to provide seamless online services to domestic and foreign investors. Currently, the portal facilitates 134 services from 44 organizations, including BIDA, allowing investors to access all necessary services from a single platform. This initiative significantly saves time and costs, contributing to a more investment-friendly environment.

The new version of the OSS portal comes with several notable features:

 Public Service Performance Dashboard:
The updated dashboard now displays information on the number of resolved applications and the timeframe for resolution by BIDA and its associated stakeholders.

Online Monitoring and Application Progress Tracking:
Service recipients can track the current status of their applications online.

 Convenient Service Access:
Investors can explore service-related information on the OSS portal without needing to log in.

On Monday, BIDA announced that the updated version of the OSS portal was officially launched on Sunday.

As per the BIDA One-Stop Service Rules, 2020, senior authorities can monitor whether applications are being resolved within the stipulated timeframe through the monitoring dashboard. This ensures that service recipients receive their required services in a timely manner.
