The government has issued strict directives to make all district-level training centers fully operational immediately by equipping them with state-of-the-art technological tools and engineering facilities. The goal is to move beyond conventional certification and transform female trainees into self-reliant, tech-driven entrepreneurs capable of meeting real-world industry demands.
The directive was delivered on 2 September 2026, Wednesday, by Minister for Women and Children Affairs and Social Welfare, Professor Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain, speaking as the chief guest at a grant distribution ceremony for voluntary women’s associations under the Department of Women Affairs held at the Bangladesh Shishu Academy Auditorium.

To maintain a transparent digital repository of skilled human resources, he stressed the mandatory logging of every trainee’s academic and operational profile into an integrated Management Information System (MIS).

He highlighted that to ensure commercial scalability for local innovators, authorities will provide specialized training in supply chain logistics, early-stage seed funding, and multidimensional institutional support. Additionally, taking advantage of the expanding global care economy, specialized tech-integrated caregiving courses will be rolled out at the district tier. He also urged swift recruitment against existing vacancies in the Department of Women Affairs and called for a concerted social campaign against child marriage, dowry, and violence against women.
